Rhea Stevens

Rhea Stevens is an emerging artist working in Melbourne, Florida. 

Statement: My work is an intuitive visual language—a continuous dialogue between
internal reflection and the raw materiality of paint. Since childhood,
art has served as my foundational compass, offering both purpose and a
direct window into the landscape of the soul.

At the heart of my practice is the physical act of spontaneous
creation. Every canvas begins without a rigid blueprint, requiring an
absolute mental presence that completely grounds me in the immediate
moment. In this space of heightened awareness, the distraction of the
outside world recedes, allowing a flow state to take hold. As layers
of color and texture build, the work unfolds organically—the image
simultaneously guiding its own direction and giving form to my inner
perspective.

Ultimately, painting is an ongoing journey of discovery and
transformation. It is a process that repeatedly rewards me with
moments of personal transcendence, bridging thought and feeling, and
defining my relationship to the world around me.
