Ripley Jackson Ripley Jackson is a seasoned artist based on Florida's east coast. He specializes in depicting the intricacies of human life and the natural world, with an appreciation of the mysteries and joy of nature and humanity. A realist painter, prolific in oil, acrylic, airbrush, as well as numerous other techniques, Jackson's paintings focus on the in-depth exploration into the details of the natural world and complex human interactions which are so often overlooked in our daily routines.
Statement: Each time I embark upon a new painting, I take time to reflect upon experiences I have had, people I have known, and personal interactions throughout the years. Regardless of wether the narrative of the painting is based on myth or reality, my goal is to look into the soul of my subjects and discover what makes them tick in my attempt to capture this essence. The same applies to my paintings of the natural world and surroundings we exist in. These mysteries have kept me motivated throughout my entire career as a painter. I am still searching.
